His blood was not spilled until the day of the crucifixion.

I know Catholics love the twisty-twiney story telling, but this is where the falsehoods have to stop.

That His blood would be spilled was known from the Beginning of time and the action was set in motion when Mary Immaculately conceived Him. The cross was not the first time Jesus had shed blood. As a Jew he was circumcised. In Gethsemane he sweated blood. He was scourged. All in fulfillment of the Scriptures.
