If a person REALLY BELIEVES in the cosmic lottery (aka predestination) they should understand that praying and preaching is ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS. If EVERYTHING has already been decided, no amount of prayer or preaching is going to change what God has already predestined. It's like they're trying to work their way into heaven or something.
