"That is all answered definitively in John 6:"

This is a classic if / then statement:

If I cometh to Him I will no wise be cast out. What happens if I don't?

If I seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, I will be raised up. What happens if I don't see or believe?

How is a requirement for me to "cometh, seeth and believeth" not an obligation upon me to perform works to achieve Salvation?

.
Its not a requirement; it is a fact that you will.

[37] “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

.
It is the work of the Father, not yours. You didn’t come to the son by your own motives, but the Father’s motives. He chose you; you didn’t choose him. Had it been up to you, you’d have been lost. That is why the Father did it.
.
