I am comfortable in any church that preaches Gods word. As long as that church preaches that God's word conforms to the doctrine of double predestination. Right?

Sheesh. For whatever reason, you avoid direct answers on this point of church doctrine.
Have fun.

"My point was missed.. doing good works, being nice, helping neighbors is all good stuff.. but it saves no one..not the doer or the receiver.. it gives no testimony to Jesus Christ if the words are not spoken good deeds only witness to what a swell person someone is.. not Christ or His work on the cross.." So you are saying that you have to talk your way into heaven, unless you are elect then you can keep your mouth shut and if you are not elect nothing you say matters. Does this mean that the beatitudes were some kind of practical joke Jesus was playing on the assembled masses or was He presenting them with the spiritual equivalent of a Gordian Knot that no one could actually solve except the Calvinists who would not emerge for another 1500 years and who were not referred to in any prophecy?

You do not want to go there because the Catholic church is rife with Catholics that have affairs, priest that assault little boys, popes with bastard children, politicians that love abortion etcWhat part of my post did you NOT understand. The governor is a Catholic. At least she claims to be.
No one who responded missed your point. All these people will tell you with their lips the Christ is their saviour but their actions tell you which master they serve. Not much different than here. Since their verbal confession is what you say is the only thing that counts, then one would surmise their behavior is okay with God, right? It doesn't matter. It's not about works...then Teddy's home free along with the likes of Cardinal Mahoney. You are the one that went there in the first place by contradicting the bible.

all our righteousness is filthy bloody menstrual rags before a HOLY God You guys really have a gleeful problem with sex and with menstruation, don't you? All female mammals normally menstruate. Not all mammals, or all humans obsess on it. Only the select few.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "elevated". In the words of Jesus, man should not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. The quotations of Jesus are considered the direct words of God. They should surpass the musings of ordinary men, even if they are considered Scripture. The Jews considered the Torah to be of more importance than the rest of the OT, true? And the justification of the Protestant OT is that the Jews knew it better than the Christians...

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, la'ma sabach-tha'ni?" that is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" And? How do you know what Jesus meant with this question? How do you know who He directed it to?

I think it is unfair for you to lump all Catholics into one group - "...they are lost". Some Catholics are mighty fine Christians. You are correct. I need to reword it. How about: All Catholics are put onto the path of salvation; some wander off and are lost. Others are exposed to the Truth and refuse it...
