Commenting from the sidelines about behavior that is demonstrated more often than not by the mormons themselves. And yet, when a mormon crosses the line in spades and goes personal against someone, silence.

Attributing the “behaviors” to the ex-mo’s and anti’s by using the SLC talking points that the reason we quit or post against mormonism is because we’re “bitter or angry” is lame and amateurish.

I wonder how magritte will classify this post.

“Snarky”? Probably.

“Angry”? I don’t see any “anger” demonstrated.

“Bitter”? I don’t feel “bitter”.

Maybe I need someone else to tell me I’m “bitter” because I’m incapable of determining that for myself. I know, I’ll go find a TBM and have them determine why I quit mormonISM.</S>

The motivations of others is always key...

There are those who receive benefit if the Body of Christ looks foolish in some way or appears at odds with each other and will frame efforts at defending the faith or pointing out heresies as something they aren't...

You don’t sound “bitter” at all, at least not in the posts to me. Exactly the opposite...whatever that is. You sound like someone caught in a situation that only provides pain or silence. I can’t imagine how, but I so hope you can find your way into some happiness. Yikes.
