The best place to learn about Mormonism is from their own doctrine. Read the Book of Mormon, as well as the doctrine and covenants. Compare it to what you know both Spiritually and historically. If you are a person of faith, espcially the Christian faith, remember that faith and reason are two sides of the same coin. If it doesn't make sense in your mind, it likely is not of the faith either. God plays no tricks.

Notice I did not say from Mormons themselves, for you will learn nothing, the first most awesome power in the LDS is Public Relations.

Remember that you have to separate a lot of the innocent good Mormons from their practice and the operators of their “faith”. There are a lot of professional apologist out there who have a serious vested interest in maintaining the story.

Okay, this is starting to sound like homework. Can’t I just ask a really stupid question every once in a while and then go shopping?
