I think most of us thought she was a hypochondriac, but with time and increasing knowledge about our bodies and how they function, it seems that what appeared to be hypochondria may well be chronic illness. I really regret that.
Those of us on the receiving end know better. We know that something isn't right.
Healthy people just don't get that not everyone feels well like they do. Just because they do, doesn't mean everyone else does. Or has to.
