Restaurants cook pancakes on the grill. Others drop breaded potato things into the french fryer. I found a place that puts finely ground cracker crumbs in the oil and/or vinegar for sandwiches (Italian style).

Anyway, good morning folks. Spouse is away taking care of her elderly parents ~ and I've been recuperating from the eye surgery. This has given me a chance to experiment with an all meat, all rice (and tapioca) diet, no veggies ~ and it's great.

Yesterday and the day before I ate a chicken. Day before that I ate salmon. Day before that I ate shrimp. Day before that salmon. Then a steak.

One place I bought ostrich and elk meat is in Bloomington Illinois near the university. At the time the store was called "The Meat Shop".

Still, there are guys all over the Midwest who do wholesale vending of elk, buffalo and ostrich ~ all high iron content good tasting meats. The Eastern states are a bit tight. In the West it's always a long way from the cities to where these folks do business, but mail order is available.

Fudruckers sells an Ostrich burger. It's very good, and has three times the iron.

Again, sublingual B12, "it's what you need" (a joke, think of "Idiocracy" the movie).

Anyway, the sun is out, sky is clear, and I'm stuck in the house a couple more weeks so I don't get bumped by anyone or anything. Could be some canned tuna in my future today!

What do you do with tapioca?

It’s something different and I’d like to give it a try.
