WELLLLLLLLLLL! YEA!

THAT SETTLES IT. I’ll post the FREEPMAILS HERE, THEN:

Anonymously—they can claim ownership as they wish . . . just trying to abide by forum rules on such . . .

When she is up for suggestions, they are now treating food allergies like my old allergies I had - through gradually increased (in this case oral) exposure. I got injections to allergens as a child and outgrew them by my teens. THey are doing oral exposures to food proteins that cause allergies and gradually ramping them up over months and years to build the person’s tolerances back up so they outgrow the allergy. Sometimes they start with as little as 1/1000 of a percent of the protein they are allergic to.

They also have a sublingual therapy similar to above where a small amount of proteins are placed under the tongue and absorbed by the body that way.

Highly recommend my nutritionist, Dina Khader. She is in NY but does phone consults. She absolutely has helped everyone I know who I’ve sent to her (or had talk to on the phone) - I recommend her without reservation. I had the exact same issues my whole life: I AM NOW CURED. Dina has a unique blood-type-based system which WORKS FOR EVERYONE WHO TRIES IT. Check out http://www.dinakhader.com/ and especially the success stories (which are absolutely true - many of these people I actually know) http://www.dinakhader.com/success-stories/ - it sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t - she is the real deal. Dina’s approach is unique - her recommendations are totally personal and custom to each person, and there isn’t another nutritionist like her in America. TRY HER. (FYI she doesn’t take insurance but I guarantee you YOU WON’T REGRET IT.)

Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.

Does this mean she reacts in a psychological way?

Has anyone checked/monitored her brain chemistry?

We’re currently treating one of my children in the context of allergies to just about everything. She’s also autistic. We’ve seen miraculous gains in both since we’ve been eliminating heavy metals. I breastfed her during dental work that involved amalgam removal. Shouldn’t have done that.

The heavy metals screw up the metabolic enzymes necessary for digestion. They’re everywhere. Some people just don’t eliminate them properly.

Will pray for her.

Dear Quix: Please don’t think I’m meddling or prescribing, but if her diet is so restrited, she might have some nutrition deficiencies. Try giving her magnesium supplemnts and B complex vitamins with her main meal. Food allergies are very frightening. There is a new diet plan called GAPS especially for people with food allergies. Look it up online and see if it fits her.

I will be praying for you. This is a very difficult thing to try to deal with.

I have pinged all the senders.

Thanks.

Have looked into sublingual drop therapy and tried them for pollen allergies and reacted to the drops. My doctor was very honest that they only sometimes work for foods and sometimes make them worse.

I live in NYS and NY is close enough for me to check out.

I have ofen suspected amalgam and do have a lot of fillings. I’ve considered having them replaced but dread the procedure. It will not be a pleasant one. Finding a dentist who will do it and paying for it are also options, and since I’m not sure that is the problem, since I had them since I was born (pre fillings) I don’t know what role it plays or if it will even help.

An endocrinologist has been suggested by a medical professional and that is next on the list if other avenues don’t go through.
