Pratt also wrote those as an apostle in the mormon church - with the church’s blessing. If the mormon church blessed those views - then the mormon church also embraced those views.
But as I’ve also pointed out - the mormon church hasn’t change the book of mormon nor changed the instructions to their missionaries to reflect this newer, warmer and fuzzier view of non-mormons, and those ARE the mormon church’s thoughts.
