Jesus came to make ALL religion on this planet obsolete..... and DID.. not only that, but said; "You MUST be born again".. as well..
Whether the founders of the U.S. saw this clearly or not depends on the founder.. Some were probably religious others may not have been.. For sure, Jesus formed a family, some may have been smart assed groupies..
