Ahhhh, so that’s your answer. You don’t have an answer, it appears. So we’ll change the subject. Jumping though hoops? I would think it’s more like standing up for what you believe. and defending it with truths. And being strong in your faith.

No, my answer is that we bend over backwards to satisfy the demands of those believing a false gospel, then you use that same false gospel as if it somehow trumps the Truth, which is that scripture and Tradition were handed down by Christ via a Church He built and to which He granted authority to lose and bind.

Your demands about "proving" everything by demanding it be written literally on the face of scripture is simply a false gospel.

If we adhere to that false gospel, we must abandon the concept of the Holy Trinity along with all the other Catholic doctrines and dogmas, because the Holy Trinity as it is believed by us both is not written literally on the face of scripture.

Its this same false gospel, that all Christian doctrine and dogma must be written literally on the face of scripture, that gives us heresies like Mormonism and Seventh Day Adventists.

Sorry, I just refuse to accept this straw man position as the playing field.
