Are the parentheses in the original?
Obviously you don't believe those plain words of John the Apostle...
Maybe I do and maybe I don't. I'm just asking where in the Bible the words "Bible alone" appear. It's interesting that so far what I have received as a response is questions about what I believe, a statement about what I obviously do not believe, and a novel textual tradition of John which includes parentheses.
Tell me where in the Bible do the words Bible Alone appear, PLEASE?
I doubt that anyone has ever suggested to you that 'bible alone' is in the bible...So why do you keep asking for proof???
One thing is indubitably clear tho...When John wrote these words,
Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
And,
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.,
You can be absolutely certain that the knowledge of your eternal salvation has been provided within the scripture WITHOUT the burden of any one's oral Tradition...
And THAT is scripture alone, regardless of how you slice it...
Crickets.
Two can play that game, MD.
Where’s Scripture assert that !!!!TRADITION!!!!
is EQUAL TO SCRIPTURE???
