Exactly. So many not only deny any spiritual authority of the Catholic church, deny the Real Presence, and deny that Catholics are Christian and have any hope of Salvation.
I don’t consider for a second any Morman baptism that may have been done on my familial lines to be of any concern, validity or any spritual effect.
It simply is of no consequence to me.
Concern over an anathema based on the non-belief in the Real Presence by those whose religions are based on non-belief in the Real Presence is an interesting conundrum.
It leads me to believe that some are hedging their bets on eternity.
That's my suspicion too, they seem far too concerned with what their status with the Catholic Church is. That may be another reason that many of them are so reluctant to divulge what denomination they belong to, they don't want to pin themselves down to any particular belief.
Believe it or not, it's not about YOU. You seem to have happily cast your lot. It's about LURKERS and others whose eyes are opening and they know something is wrong, but haven't quite yet figured it all out. It's about those who are SEEKING the truth. Those who need the Word of God to show them the truth, and the way out of darkness. Why do you think scripture is given with almost every post?
