Jesus had ample time after His resurrection to cover the whole communion and eucharist thing and there’s no record of it in the gospels.
He and His disciples, under the OT law, could not have eaten actual flesh and blood and remained clean for the Passover and Sabbath. Since the new covenant did not begin until after Christ’s death and resurrection, Jesus, who was the fulfillment of the Law could NOT have eaten blood and remained pure and eligible to become our sacrifice.
Thanks metmom. That is truth that opens eyes and hearts.
So sorry beg to differ. I believe in the free open exchange of ideas. But you did not understand. Imho Too much wrapping around verses on your own in these threads. I just think It’’s just not the way God intended. But I do believe we are Christian. I have friends who think like some on these threads. When they follow the Lord they call it a stewardship of his Grace. Then I ask them what if not. The response then that person never had it.
