Faith is a free gift from God to whom He will.
Tradition was denounced by Jesus Christ nearly every time He mentioned the word.
And reason augments our understanding only if God has renewed our mind to make sense of His words, His will and His purpose.
The assurance you're apparently seeking is found in God's grace alone.
