Vatican II did not change any doctrines or dogmas of the Church. It sought to relate to the present age and in some ways it succeeded and in others it failed.
The failures are being addressed by the current hierarchy.
Well my undersatanding is before Vatican 2 it was true that the catholic church claimed itself as the only church whereby one could be saved...that apart from the catholic church people were damned. But Vatican 2 changed that????
