I think they both sinned. I think Scripture is pretty clear about that.
However, it’s a moot point. Regardless, Mary was not the solution to any degree.
She was a temporary vehicle as it were . . . and God could have raised up a virgin of David’s line from a rock had Mary been ran over by a camel.
You know what I think:
The command was not to MOVE the tree.
Every day Eve said, “Adam, honey, I just want to SEE what it LOOKS like over there.”
When she got up to two times a day, Adam, who just wanted to watch the Steelers, finally caved.
The Adversary was just an interior decorator. “Hmm, honey, I think you could do a LOT with the place. Sure needs work though. Oh, I know! Move THAT tree over THERE! I just KNOW it’ll be FABulous. You’ll just DIE, I’m telling you.”
