No, I wasn’t referring to the conception of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Immaculate Conception means that Mary, from the first moment of HER conception, was preserved from original sin. That’s when she was sanctified.

Where is that found in Scripture? Verses to support that please.

If God could do it for her retroactively, why didn't He just do it for the whole rest of mankind and save us from all this earthy grief that we have to endure. Then there'd be no need for purgatory or hell.

Are you among those Catholics who insist Mary gave her consent to the conception of Jesus?

Assuming she said "no" would her Immaculate Conception be revoked?
