It’s right there, as I copied and pasted it for you from http://scripturecatholic.com

Catholic doctrine is NOT God inspired. How could you possible give that as proof of anything concerning God, His Ways, His Truths, His Church. It's only man made laws that some group of people that need to be led by man submit to.

Christians follow Christ and HIS teachings. And Mary's Assumption is not Biblical. Here's what Jesus says about Mary when approached by a woman singing her praises.

As he was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out, "God bless your mother--the womb from which you came, and the breasts that nursed you!"

Jesus replied, "But even MORE BLESSED are all who hear the word of God and obeys it."

Imagine if she said she prays to her? You can ignore that Scripture all you want - it's NOT going away. So continue to be deceived all you want but don't pass off your church/organization's teachings as any kind of Truth.

Mary did not ascend to heaven. She was no more blessed than anyone who HEARS and OBEYS THE WORD OF GOD. Worship her all you want in your organization but don't pass off such heresy as God's WORD/TRUTH.

I’ll bite as I am not afraid of that verse and in fact it specifically speaks to why Catholics have such love for Mary and why that love would never be condemned by Jesus.

Jesus is saying here that the reason Mary is blessed is because she heard the word of God and obeyed it. She gave herself over completely to it.

And how much more blessed are we, by her obedience, the ones who have gained heaven because Jesus was born of her and we now have our Savior!

Did you know that envy is one of the seven deadly sins?

"Catholic doctrine is NOT God inspired."

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

1030 All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven.

1031 The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence and Trent. The tradition of the Church, by reference to certain texts of Scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire: (I Cor 3:15 - If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.) (I Pet 1:7 - so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at (D)the revelation of Jesus Christ;)

As for certain lesser faults, we must believe that, before the Final Judgment, there is a purifying fire. He who is truth says that whoever utters blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will be pardoned neither in this age nor in the age to come. From this sentence we understand that certain offenses can be forgiven in this age, but certain others in the age to come.

1032 This teaching is also based on the practice of prayer for the dead, already mentioned in Sacred Scripture: "Therefore Judas Maccabeus] made atonement for the dead, that they might be delivered from their sin." From the beginning the Church has honored the memory of the dead and offered prayers in suffrage for them, above all the Eucharistic sacrifice, so that, thus purified, they may attain the beatific vision of God. The Church also commends almsgiving, indulgences, and works of penance undertaken on behalf of the dead:

Let us help and commemorate them. If Job's sons were purified by their father's sacrifice, why would we doubt that our offerings for the dead bring them some consolation? Let us not hesitate to help those who have died and to offer our prayers for them.
