That’s a shame. I’ve never known any Calvinists, at least not that I am aware of.
During our Indiana years, we lived in an exceedingly Protestant area (two Catholic churches in the entire county) in which all the cults were constantly warring with each other. The patterns of vandalism were rather complex to try to follow, especially since the local newspaper tended to support two of the cults and disparaged the rest. Even within the cult, there were warring factions. For instance, I believe that within the county, we had six or seven Church of Christ congregations who all hated each other even more than they hated Catholics.
I think that we had a Congregationalist and a Dutch Reformed as well. SDA, Jehovah's Witnesses (boy I had fun with them), LDS, FLDS, and a number of small independents. I knew some Calvinists there, and I was pretty good friends with a couple. Our theological discussions were pretty good as well. Good bunch. I miss them.
