That is because the criticism is not leveled at individuals but at errant beliefs and practices.
Comparing the Holy Eucharist, which Catholics hold most dear, to "yesterday's pork roast" in NOT criticism of beliefs and practices. It's a gross and obscene insult, designed to shock and hurt.
It's full of the spirit of bigotry and hate, and certainly unworthy of someone who professes to be only interested in persuading Catholics and converting them to the "true religion".
The only reason you're getting away with it is because it was not directed at any individual FReeper BY NAME. What a nifty little loophole you can exploit there! Just slap Catholics in the face at will, and remain gloriously "above the fray". Nice little set of Teflon you got there, courtesy of the administrators.

Not only that, any reasonable response or justifiable outrage by these posts is met with even more snide and nasty dialogue between them.
Honestly, if their BS wasn’t so bad I could ignore them and I can take whatever they throw at me with a grain of salt and a reasoned and thoughtful answer no matter how undeserved.
My concern is for the lurkers. Those new to the faith, exploring the faith or weak in their faith.
They deserve to hear the truth.
