Can a command be good news = Gospel? Despite the tinge of works righteousness, which I would think would trouble the Calvinists more than me, let's recast:
God's word is made available in the Bible. When the Spirit leads one to approach the Bible in humility and hope, God speaks to one.
3. LOVE GOD FIRST, FOREMOST, WITH ALL YOUR BEING; OTHERS AS YOURSELF; DO UNTO OTHERS; FORGET THE DEADLY RITUALS AND DAMNING HOGWASH.
Essentially okay, with the first question standing, namely the relatsionship between a command and a proclamation of glad tidings.
But of course the problem lies in identifying the deadly rituals and damning hogwash.
So here the gospel is put forth without any needless mockery.
