What you call "peculiar, power-mongering fiction" is based on either bad information you've received or an inability to understand it.
The only "miracle" men need today is the fact that Christ rose from the dead.
Is that so?
Did Christ die for our sins or was He resurrected for our sins? Why is the Bible so lengthy if the ONLY thing we need to believe is that Christ rose from the dead?
But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing, you may have life in his name. (John 20:31)
And if it's all the same to you, I'll skip the personal questions you seem unable to hold back from asking.
I didn't ask a personal question, I merely asked what you think your Catholic friends and relatives would think of your posts on FR. But, I fully understand why you would prefer to skip that question.
Whole lotta ducking and weaving goin' on here...
He died for our sins and rose to prove it all true.
Don't RCs know anything?
God's grace which is bestowed on undeserving men is that He became man and took on the penalty for our sins and paid for every one of them.
This grace is proven by the visual, actual miracle of the resurrection which confirmed Christ is God and that God's grace is true.
