Speaking of ratcheting up the rhetoric, your comparison of the Holy Eucharist to "yesterday's pork roast" is a gross and obscene insult to Catholics everywhere. Your entire posting history is full of similar, bigoted broadsides at Catholics and the Church. You're here ALL DAY LONG, day in and day out, posting frenetically your attacks on the Church, but rarely, if ever, answering in a reasonable way the objections that Catholics enter to your rantings.

So don't talk about "ratcheting up the rhetoric".

I think it is very important to realize that there are some people on these threads who, despite their protestations to the contrary, ARE NOT Christians. They are serving, and probably quite willingly, the prince of darkness and as they are exposed to the truth they grow angrier. They are not Protestants, they do not seek to "reform" Christianity, they seek to destroy it. Their "religion" is hatred of His people.

I say let them expose themselves for what they are. Let them call Catholic churches "synagogues of Satan." Let them call the Pope a Nazi and post cropped photos that they believe proves something. Let them stumble to convey the themes of their satantic comic books without quoting directly.

Our Lord made a promise to His Church and it is a promise that these Faustian swine have always hated, because they know that it is true (and just as He promised that they would not prevail, He also predicted that they would try):

And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)

I realize when RC apologists cannot defend their beliefs from Scripture they go on the attack. Please desist. Discuss the issues and not individual posters. It’s a simple rule and it actually works well to tone down the rhetoric and keep the conversation moving.
