What it means in the non-Catholic world is that a stated position, proposed doctrine etc. must be backed up by Scripture. The Apostles' personal opinions don't mean anything to me. Just like Martin Luther's personal opinions hold no sway if not backed up by the Word of God.
So does my answer mean I won’t see the ‘gotcha’ opinion quote of an Apostle?
