"Rome despises all Protestants, but it despises the early reformers the very most. Those men experienced the Inquisitions of Rome; they saw the Bibles shackled to the altar and felt the heat of the fires burning men and books."

What a crock! The hate is the all consuming hatred of the Church upon which the Protestants base their very identity. All of the falsehoods and Stalinist-style imagery will not make those so-called reformers anything other than petty, wanna-be alter pontiffs interested in nothing other than earthly power and pleasures.

Protestants never anathematized Roman Catholics and thought so highly of those curses that they entombed them in official church dogma as the Council of Trent did.

“Only when historical science has been able to determine the true facts, will theologians and the Church’s Magisterium itself be in a position to make an objectively well-founded judgement.”
