Jesus is the rock on which the church is built, as per Peter himself in the epistle he himself wrote.

Peter never claimed to be the rock on which Christ built His church. Why you insist on claiming something that about Peter that Peter himself never claimed about himself is beyond me, but I’d think that Peter would know better what Jesus meant than you for a variety of reasons.

I’ll take Peer’s word for it. Or is that on it....? Or maybe about it....?
