The issue is whether we can properly use the tools of modern set theory to analyze the statement.
For
Jesus said none born of woman is greater than John.
Jesus was greater than John.
Jesus was born of woman.
The only questionable statement is the first, and one can question it without making Jesus a liar IF one agrees that it cannot be intended with to have any more strict logical rigor than Paul's statement that all have sinned, which, if taken to its logical conclusion would mean that Jesus has sinned.

Jesus said "Among those that are born of women there is not A GREATER PROPHET than John the Baptist".. Luke 7:28.
I really don't understand your point here. He did not say there is not a greater man. He simply said a greater prophet. The opposite would be among those that are NOT born of women and that cannot be true, obviously.
Maybe it's just late for my brain tonight. I don't know, I'm just not getting your point, but if I do, you'll be the first to know.

Very good.
One gets into a lot of trouble if he tries to interpret Scripture in a "surface literalism" sort of way.
