Well, Catholics are right...theirs was the orginal ‘church’..after that the rest were offshoots, Calvin, Luther, the Baptists...etc, etc.
As for true to scripture...Looks like Catholics are right again...Jesus said, “Take this bread. This is my body. Drink this wine, this is my blood.”
That is the Catholic ‘transubstantiation” concept which NO other christian religions have...Pretty faithful to scripture...Jesus didn’t say” this wine is a symbol of my blood, “ or “ this wine is sort of Like my blood.”
That’s the whole point of the Last supper, the whole point of the mystery of the Risen Christ.

Luke 22: 17 & 18 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
The church fathers in the Council of Jerusalem decreed that Christians should abstain from the eating of blood. They made no exceptions.
Acts 15: 19-29 "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. How can the Roman Catholic church call itself the true church and deviate from the clear teaching of Scripture on this one?
