Believers in heaven will receive eternal rewards. They are not the same any more than different people are the same. God has a plan for each and every one of us.
This is why the Christian way of life, of abiding in Him is so important. For every cursing there is a blessing, perhaps not now, maybe not until the bema seat, but the eternal consequences are rich for the winner-believer who continues the course and perseveres.
