I have a task for God.. I was sincere and He gave me a task. I consider it a priviledge, not a work. And it will gain not one ounce to my salvation. I know it, He knows it. But it does give Glory and Honor to the only ONE to whom Glory and Honor are due.

Our works are prepared by God for us to do for His glory and honor. They are not to earn our salvation. We will be rewarded for obediently performing those good works but we do not earn our salvation by performing them.

Ephesians 2:8-10For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

I Corinthians 3:10-15 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

Faith without works is empty. Can an empty faith find favor with God? I don’t do works to “earn” salvation. There aren’t enough works in the world!:) Works flow as a natural byproduct of faith. It will be up to Christ to measure their sincerity.
