why do people slap that card down, like it's some kind of trump card?

you know, I was saved so I could be an arsonist. ?!?

I understand WHY, I guess. "Let's just ask them how much they think they can get away with because they are saved." The point is Why would something like that ever enter my mind? I have God's promises, Christ's life, and the Holy Spirit's promise to lead me in all truth. Who could want more? Who would take the freedom we have in Christ and use it to dishonor Him? Or pervert the freedom He has given us?
