You are either saved or you aren't. You are either pregnant or you aren't.
It's not too hard to understand, if you don't attempt pretzel logic to twist it into a belief system. And try to make it say something it clearly does not say.

Pretzel logic?
Comparing a mortal’s 9 month pregnancy which is a material event to a lifelong spiritual journey of the soul backed by Scripture is completely off the mark.
You are either saved or you aren't. You are either pregnant or you aren't.Fr. Corapi said he tells his Protestant/non-denom friends when they ask him if he's "saved," "Saved?! You're asking ME if I've been saved? I won't know if I've been saved until I'm looking Jesus in the eye."
I think this is a helpful way to state it. When you think about it, since we aren't in Heaven yet - as long as we're alive - we aren't experiencing the "saved" part as yet. In other words, we will have eternal life when we die - and get a new body to live it in. We can be SURE of eternal life right now because that is God's promise to all those who accept his grace through faith. But the going to Heaven part is when we die - or are "taken up". We are saved "unto good works" which God has for ordained that we should walk in them but we are certainly NOT saved BY those good works. A woman doesn't become "more" pregnant by the passage of time, just bigger!
