How could I possibly be saying that? I provided the citation from Catholic Answers to which you refered. I was trying to be helpful.
Obviously, if one reads that citation, one finds an admission that Bennett was ordained. One also finds Karl Keating showing how Bennett's story doesn't quite gel, for many of the same reasons that others have suggested. And then there's some additional information about his running "Berean Beacon", which is not the attributed website for the posted article.
Naturally, I concluded my post with my own stunningly brilliant insights, which you've sadly neglected as well. :-)
Look, I know this looney bin of a forum can fray Catholics' nerves, but try not to assume the worst before you respond, OK?

Oh, so any pew that has pew bibles means that the Protestants in the pew don’t have bibles at home? Interesting. That would mean millions and millions of Protestants don’t have Bibles at home. I guess they all hate the Bible and are ignorant of it, right? Well, if we apply the usual logic (or lack thereof) that you use.
“Clearly it’s time for some to run off to their caucus threads.”
Then go and run.
Hopefully, they would come to know The Gospel.
Exactly... and I have known those who aren't getting it right but rather preaching their own agenda.
Another poster mentioned the Charasmatic movement within the Catholic church. How could that happen?... They do get into alot of stuff I am not comfortable with....but I suspect some might have wanted that touchy feeley sort of religion without leaving their church. Humm... interesting to know there are Charasmatic Catholics.
Reading is fundamental.
Once again, so no one scanning this thread misinterprets the fact that you exerpted my statements:
To: wmfights
If they do, they sure dont read them.
Im the sure the conjecture around here is that:
~Since Catholics refuse to believe the Protestants version of bible truth, we know Catholics do not read the bible.
If Catholics read the bible for themselves, they would not be Catholics.~
The more Ive read the bible, the more Ive realized the absolute Truth of the Chruch Christ founded, the Catholic Church, the Primacy of Peter and a wealth of surety about faith in Christ.
That’s all I will convey to you. The simplistic canards on these threads are silly.
They do seem to morph into whatever works. I'm sure that's part of the anti Sola Scriptura stuff.
If RC's read the Bible they might come to know The Gospel.

So fundamental, but apparently you forgot what yourself wrote:
“Is this because they dont have Bibles at home?”
Apparently you believe missals at Church means no Bibles at home - for Catholics. That must mean - using your logic - that pew Bibles mean no Bibles at home for Protestants. If you believe otherwise, then I suggest you try to be consistent.
Unlike the Protestant Churches where the altar has been replaced with a pulpit or lectern, the Catholic liturgy is worship based.
Actually, I have attended mass several times. When I attend I observe those things which mark similarities with our Free Church worship service while at the same time noting those things with which I disagree.
That's just not true and I doubt many would agrree with you saying that. The threads themslelves attest that many do read and know what they believe, you just have to wade thru some of the "other" literature, but they do use scripture to support their belief for the most part...how be it a little twisted from time to time or out of context....other times alot twisted. But it Depends on who is posting. But as a whole on FR/RF's they know.
And they have to read it before mass to do the homily. What A crock of bull crap. This man has quite a mental problem. It’s like a non catholic help write this drivel.
What A crock of bull crap ...Yes, I second that!
I’ve been to Protestant services, gutted, etoliated, breft of any Worship of God.
Timothy was on to something there.
“...but they do use scripture to support their belief for the most part...how be it a little twisted from time to time or out of context....other times alot twisted.”
See, you’ve just confirmed my statement.
Twisted scripture according to YOUR belief, not mine, not our Catholics belief.
You statement just points up the fact that you in fact believe:
~Since Catholics refuse to believe the Protestants version of bible truth, we know Catholics do not read the bible.
And to this, I would add this:
Since Catholics refuse to believe the Protestants version of bible truth, we know Catholics do not read the bible according to MY interpretation.
Well it does appear the diversion is working yet again as we have all strayed from this marvelous mans Testimony.
I think it was very well presented and highlighted some of the issues I had questioned about how can someone know the Lord and be in His word and remain in the catholic church.
This man came to the point of recognizing there were things which did not conform to scripture teaching of our Lord. But even then these had to increase in magnitude before He could see the whole picture...and thus it was indeed the scriptures, His seeking the truth, seeking God that He saw the reality of His faith and what it rested on...and finally took Christ’s life as His own. Amazing story!
St. Paul tells us that when pagans observed the Christian community, their response was: "See how they love one another." When I look at this forum, my reaction is "What the hell is wrong with these people?"
This place is a disgrace and a scandal, precisely because of the disgusting image of supposedly Christian behavior it exhibits to the world.
