Just curious...how does a Christian set aside the metaphysical? Isn't it the metaphysical that is reality...and our physical/sensory perception which is the lie?
My job requires me to be concrete. If I take an engineering project proposal to the Board on metaphysical terms, I would be immediately fired. The house that I (or mostly the bank) owns was built on strictly a physical basis. I could hardly plan the construction on metaphysical terms, could I?

I thought it was very telling in the Linda Moulton Howe interview above how the victim’s prayer in Jesus Name brought the whole thing to a rapid halt.
There are some examples where an authentic RELATIONSHIP with Jesus prior to the experience seems to be necessary for such a prayer to be effective.
In many other cases, prayers from years or decades earlier in childhood Sunday School prayed in earnest have halted such goings on instantly.
It does seem to be important for the pray-er to earnestly invest themselves with some energy, if not confidence in the efficacy of the prayer—essentially at least some degree of faith IN JESUS as THE AUTHORITY.
It sometimes appears that the more energy/confidence in praying IN JESUS NAME, the more rapidly the incident is brought to a close.
It is also instructive that scientist researcher Jacque Vallee after considerable long term study concluded that the whole thing is dealing with evil SPIRITUAL entities. This was quite a conclusion for such a professional to come to. It was not greeted warmly by his scientific colleagues.
