I didn't call him a prince, the Bible does. "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:". (Eph. 2:2).

Got it. The KJV calls him ‘prince’, as does the D-R Challoner edition.
The versions I use call him ‘ruler’ which is the more literal and usual translation of Arche/Archon. ‘Prince’ normally means to me as subject to a king or emperor, and would mean that satan is working within the confines and direction that God has given him. It is not Christian belief to consider that satan is doing God’s work. That’s why I put up my objection.
