Your statement presumes that Christ founded a denomination.
The Greek word translated ‘church’ means assembly, or ‘called out ones’, it has nothing to do with a specific group.
However, your viewpoints are familiar to me and I do understand where you are coming from. It does appear though that you cannot seem to separate Christ from the RCC and that can come VERY VERY close to worshiping the Church instead of Christ. I see that very often among Mormons.

And more than a few of the rabid clique sorts . . . and evidently some on the fringes of such cliques . . . seem to . . . delight in demonstrating that they’ve not only COME VERY CLOSE to worshiping the RCC but jumped off the cliff into a raging torrent of same.
