There is simply no other option in Christianity that has any credible claim to being the Church Christ founded. There is no group, formal, informal, etc., that has the Words of Everlasting Life.

I'm either Catholic, or I'm nothing. No other options.

Yeah, yeah, I used to say the same thing. Turns out, I AM NOTHING. But when I gave up all my useless striving and put all my trust to Jesus, everything changed.

Can you see the stronghold the CC has over you?

You put your faith in something/someone other than GOD, The Almighty. His church was designed to be 'members' of His Body and not a hierarchy between God and His sheep. Jesus is The Shepherd.
