My ‘laser like’ focus is because it is where I am called. Why don’t you get that. I’m not re-fighting my old battles, I am trying to prevent others from making the same mistakes I did and to show the LDS the truth about their religion and Christ they way I was shown.
Bottom line, if God wants me elsewhere, and to witness to a different group. He (not you) will put me there. Do not assume that I am so hyper-focused that I do not listen to the Spirit or that this has a negative impact on my walk.
Your observations are incorrect and frankly unChristian. Most Christians have a concern for all lost, even if they are called to a specific group, but you want to seem to give the LDS a pass.
What is with your ‘love fest’ with Mormons? What is your religion/faith/tradition?
Isn't that always the mystery with these folks?
I don't have a 'love fest' with Mormons -- what would even make you think otherwise?
The only reason I'm talking about them at all, is because you and a few others on this thread are very insistent that I focus my attention on Mormons ... as if it's the only thing that matters.
I find it interesting, in a clinical sense, that you should be so insistent. And as I say, it seems odd to me. I think you've got a much greater personal stake in the battle than you're willing to admit. Your particular focus doesn't seem healthy to me. But it's your life, and I wish you luck with it.
What is your religion/faith/tradition?
I'm a Christian with an Anglican bent. I'm an active member of an Episcopal parish.
