After leaving Mormonism, I now understand why so many of them lie about their beliefs....because they are down right embarrassing.

Exactly. They are very embarassing. And make ‘the Church’ (their real god) look bad.

My SIL just shakes her head when we discuss LDS beliefs. She can’t believe I ever fell for that, of course, I can’t either.

May I ask you a question? How did you leave the Mormon Church? How did you recognize the truth? Were you given scripture by someone or did you see on your own?

You don't have to answer these questions! They may be personal to you. I know giving scriptures in truth is an act of love. I'm equally certain that most of the time, that is NOT how they are received! Maranatha!
