But the reason I asked was the your response seemed to be that if God is gonna save ‘em, rough language can’t stop Him.

But Paul was talking all about the care he took. It certainly sounds like Paul thought that a careful approach to evangelism was worth his labors. And it sounds like you’re saying the chips will fall where god scatters them so it doesn’t matter if one uses rhetoric that turns people away. Do you think Paul would agree with that?

If you do, then was he wasting his time being all things to all people or what?
