Thanks, it’s been a strange trip. On-line and face to face.

While active, I had learned a couple of things that caused me to question the doctrine of mormonism. I went inactive for some years and in “engaging” some folks here on FR as a disruptor, I learned even more than I had thought possible.

Those same ones who I “engaged” here on FR have encouraged, helped, prayed for, and guided me on my journey out of mormonism. I also had some discussions with some folks at work and in Scouting that helped fill in some of the gaps for me as well.

One has to be willing/receptive to the message. One may not agree with the methods used to deliver it, but it’s the message that counts.

Most importantly, IMO, one has to humble themselves before God and accept that they are powerless, turn your life over to Him.

Well, of course, if I were to follow the recommended path (and if I were somebody other than the wuss I am) NOW would be the time for me to mug you for not being a Catholic (unless you are, of course.)

Please save me the trouble and consider yourself mugged, so I can go back to being happy that at least you're a sho' 'nuff Trinitarian Christian. Besides, I just don't FEEL like mugging today. It's too hot.
