The "knowing" in the hypothetical would have been "making it personal."

I'm going by the explanation given to me - he should KNOW it. When one Freeper in a sidebar has been warned, all Freepers in the sidebar should consider themselves warned. This is based on the principle that TWO wrongs do not make a right...."If the other guy in the dispute was given a warning, consider yourself warned as well"

On a RF on a CONSERVATIVE site - and we rant/rave, have tea party events for the conservative and want to make a difference in our political system, court system, school system, etc and MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE and we encouraged or allowed the opposite here?
