The early Christians were Catholics......'m thick? ...The early Christians were JEWs!

OUCH! LOL! They will damage their truth monitor. Christians were given that name because they followed Christ's teachings. So who/what teachings are Catholics following? Is there an Apostle Cathy? or a St. Holics?

I think it was Albert Louis Charles Oswald Holic, later canonized as St, A.L.C.O. Holic.

But, yes, we maintain there is one church which is also holy, universal, and apostolic, and the first Jewish Christians were members of that Church.

I don't see what's so weird about that, once one gets over the hurdle of how we think of "denominations" of which we don't consider ourselves to be one.
