Thank you for sharing your experience and intentions with us, dear brother in Christ!

I gather that you prefer fire to ice in religious debate and therefore mix things up to that end.

If that is so, you might consider posting the warning that our dear brother in Christ, hosepipe, used to use as a tagline (paraphrased): "WARNING: this post may be laced with hyperbole."

My style of posting on the Religion Forum is to use the least number of words I can interspersed between excerpts from Scripture.

The reason is simple. God's words are enlivening and powerful, spirit and life. The words of men are neither spirit nor life.

For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

It is no skin off anyone's nose if my remarks are forgotten - not so with the words of God.

So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. - Romans 10:17

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: - John 10:27

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. – Matt 4:4

Give us this day our daily bread. – Matt 6:11

I am that bread of life. – John 6:48

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. – John 6:63

Besides, among all brothers and sisters in Christ, regardless of which label they wear (or which sheep pen they prefer, John 10) - we are bound together in our spiritual conversation.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. - I Corinthians 2:14

To God be the glory, not man, never man.

Funny how some sheep pens look thru the bars in their pen and call others heretics..
Jesus never used the term... nor did he forbid sheep pens..

Sheep pens are indeed genius..
Christians self sorting(or grading) themselves into groups..
God does not do it, they do it themselves..

Its beautiful watch and consider..

GREAT POINTS AS USUAL.

However, given that this is my first batch of french fries with my dentures . . . I may need to be extra cautious about coming across annoyed or irritable. LOL.

You told us once, Alamo-Girl, that you wanted to be seen as an "encourager," which you certainly are.

That wonderful goal has always stuck with me. It would be great if the same could be said of all of us.
