Actually, Quix, I think most of the Catholics who post here do in fact take God quite seriously and most of them are aware that one of the Names of God is "The Rock." If they did not take God seriously, why would they subject themselves to so much scrutiny?

However, I suspect many or most Catholics "out there" - just like many or most Protestants "out there" - do not take God seriously at all. And I suspect for that reason, they do not know His various Names.

God's Name is I AM, Alpha and Omega, The Rock, Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, The Word, Creator, Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Faithful and True, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Lamb of God, etc.
