Thank you for sharing your insights, dear brother in Christ!

Combined, there are slightly less than 2 billion Christians (cinos?) on the planet today. Unity of effort would be earthshaking. The entire planet could be reached in about a week.

I do not doubt that there are 2 billion claiming the label of Christian. However, by the words of God we can see that most are not.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. - Matthew 7:13-14

Truly, we can see whether reading current events, or the reaction to current events, that most people who claim to be Christian do not take God seriously.

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.

They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. - Matthew 25:1-13

Twelve who love God with all their hearts, minds and souls - who love Him surpassingly above all else - can do more to spread the Gospel than a billion whose belief amounts to more than a falsely construed spiritual insurance policy.

Love God. Believe Him. Trust Him

Oops, should be:

Please see post 1019 for the background to the numbering of Christians.

The point is what unity of effort could accomplish.

Also, sister, even if only 50% truly loved the Lord, or using your number, if only 12% truly loved the Lord, then you’d still have 240 million believers ready to tell 6 billion people about Christ.

Each would only have to tell 25 people.

How fast can you tell 25 people?
