The bottom line is that if you take a stand for the light, you should be prepared to receive resistance from the darkness.

Oh, sho' 'nuff.

(1)Sometimes the tricky part is figuring out which side is the dark side and which the Luke Skywalker side; and
(2)Woe unto him by whom the resistance comes.

THe burden of my lament is NOT "How can it be that we are so mean to one another?" That is to be expected, as you say. It is, rather, "How, in the face of the failure of this meanness to produce amity, charity, or any clear good result, can we, Christians all, justify to ourselves persisting in the meanness?"

Fortunately there has been good results and victories for Christ by those who seek to reveal and shake loose the strongholds on peoples souls in the Mormon belief system. I celebrate your steadfastness for that. Some people are just so determined you cannot accomplish this without playing nice in the sandbox of life....and by being so ‘enable’ the lies to continue. They just don't want to understand the battle.

There is a difference between strong and direct confrontation of lies and those who enable those lies to continue under the disguise of being nicey nice. Alcoholic enablers do more harm than good to those who are drinking themselves to death. So too those who have not the understanding needed to address Mormonism...and instead work against those who are indeed standing tall in the faith and tearing down those strongholds.

So you ex-Mormons, and those who stand with and for this good work.... don't let the “little foxes spoil the vine” in the work you do here....forge on and the Lord will reap souls for the work that you do. Just as you have seen before...and you will see in the future.
