Most of the ones I know who went ‘inactive’ got hooked on drugs/alcohol or were promiscuous. The legalism of the LDS tends to give way to ‘sin like you mean it’ and excess. Interesting. The life of Martin Luther is instructive as well.

Hmmm....I have read some of Luther’s works (Shorter Catechism and 95 theses and a few others) but have never read his Vitae. I shall have to locate it.
